About IBR Roof Solutions
IBR Roof Solutions makes three parts for metal sheet roofs: the Inner Rib Block, the Upper Roof Support Bracket and the Hurricane Clip. They are made for roofers, and for homeowners doing their own repairs. None of them needs a special tool to fit.
What the parts do
- Make small repairs quicker, with steps you can follow yourself or hand to a contractor.
- Support the sheet where the screw goes through it.
- Add a second fixing where the sheet meets the purlin, when fitted correctly.

The three parts
- Inner Rib Block: a small support that sits under the screw and spreads the load at the fixing point.
- Upper Roof Support Bracket: holds a replacement sheet or a patch in place, so a whole panel need not come off.
- Hurricane Clip: adds a second fixing where the sheet meets the purlin, when fitted correctly.
Installation example: commercial warehouse roof (2023)
In 2023 our parts were supplied for a large commercial warehouse roof. The photographs below come from that job and show the parts fitted on a long-span structure.
Mossel Bay: a local job
